Rangnick asks 5 signings for Milan

Ralf Rangnick

German coach Ralf Rangnick wants to start his adventure at AC Milan with five signings, new arrivals in every department.

At the end of the season Ralf Rangnick will replace Stefano Pioli as the new coach of AC Milan. In the meantime, the German coach is planning the revolution that will take place in the summer. The 61-year-old wants to strengthen the Rossoneri with a couple of important changes when the summer transfer window opens.

Sportmediaset reports that Ralf Rangnick wants to sign five new players when he joins AC Milan. Purchases in all roles of the pitch. Obviously the players that are being followed have all the characteristics required by Elliot’s project: young, talented and inexpensive.

In defence the two priorities of AC Milan are the signing of a new right back and a central defender. Mino Raiola is working to bring the PSV Eindhoven captain Denzel Dumfries to the Rossoneri. The Netherlands international is the number one choice of AC Milan and the price tag is at around 15 million. The Rossoneri hope to include Ricardo Rodriguez in talks.

Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic is currently the favorite for the centre back role. The 22-year-old recently admitted he had been contacted by Milan. Milenkovic has a contract until 2022 and his price tag is at around 25 million. The good relations between Milan and his agent Fali Ramadani could speed up talks.

Florentino Luis is the most likely name to partner with Ismael Bennacer at the heart of the midfield. Benfica have offered encouraging signals and are willing to accept an initial loan move with the right or obligation to buy after two season. Music for the ears of the Rossoneri management.

Dominik Szoboszlai is the other name for the midfield. Rangnick brought Szoboszlai at Red Bull Salzburg and would love to re-team with him at Milan. The 19-year-old left midfielder has done great in Austria and also in Champions and Europa League. Szoboszlai is a hugely talented player with a very affordable price tag of 20 million.

Finally, the number one target for the attack is Luka Jovic. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic likely to leave Milan at the end of the season the Rososneri must sign at least one centre forward. Jovic has failed to become a regular starter at Real Madrid but, having spent 60 million euros last summer, the Los Blancos are not willing to accept a loss despite his very underwhelming first season in Spain.
