The plan of Jorge Mendes to bring Bruno Fernandes at Milan
Jorge Mendes is setting a plan that would see AC Milan sign Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes in exchange for Andre Silva and cash.
MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – The incoming AC Milan mercato is currently in stand-by because the Rossoneri first have to make some sales. However, the Rossoneri management is evaluating several player profiles that can be useful to the team. The first name for the attack is always Angel Correa of Atletico Madrid but negotiations are currently blocked due to the very high asking price.
Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes is the new name on AC Milan’s list. Various Premier League clubs were interested in his services but with the summer transfer window closed in England he is open to other suggestions.
According to Tuttosport, the Fernandes-Milan operation could only take place in the event that negotiations for Correa break down and if Suso is sold. Although there have already been contacts between the agent of Bruno Fernandes, Miguel Pinho, and Paolo Maldini, a deal is very complicated due to the high asking price of Sporting Lisbon.
The Portuguese club value the former Sampdoria and Udinese at 70 million euros. Without some sales, such as that of Suso, it’s impossible for AC Milan to open talks with Sporting despite being big fans of 24-year-old attacking midfielder. However, Jorge Mendes is working to find a solution.
The powerful Portuguese agent is in fact in partnership with Pinho and could include Andre Silva in this operation. If Sporting Lisbon accept Andre Silva in exchange then the figure that AC Milan must gather is 40 million euros. Almost exactly the same fee the Rossoneri have set aside for Angel Correa.
