Theo Hernandez recovers in time for Juventus match
The latest news on the physical condition of Theo Hernandez are very positive. AC Milan will play Juventus this week.
The Rossoneri returned with a bitter taste in their mouths from the London trip. The 3-0 defeat will surely burn for a few days, and it would be strange if it didn’t. AC Milan were the protagonists of a bad performance at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea totally dominating throughout the match.
The many absences certainly had an effect on the final outcome of the England match. Nevertheless, there is some good news for the next match. On Saturday, AC Milan will host Juventus at San Siro and coach Stefano Pioli will have Theo Hernandez back under his orders.
The French left back took part in the entire training session today with the rest of the group. Hernandez seems to have fully recovered from an adductor muscle problem. It remains to be seen if coach Pioli will prefer to risk him immediately, from the 1st minute, or give him space in the second half.
Theo Hernandez has been instrumental in AC Milan’s success in recent years. The 25-year-old full back has started the new season on the same level scoring one goal and providing two assists in 9 appearances. He provides the necessary equilibrium in Milan’s game and dangerousness in attack.
Pioli had hoped for a similar fate for Junior Messias. What seemed like a simple muscle strain is holding him out longer than expected. The Brazilian winger continued his personalized training today so the chances of seeing Messias on the pitch against Juventus are extremely low.
