AC Milan face Berlusconi’s new club Monza, tomorrow at San Siro. Coach Pioli is making 7 formation changes for Milan vs Monza.
AC Milan vs Monza will be a match full of nostalgia for all the Rossoneri supporters. Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani make their return at San Siro, tomorrow, at 18:00 CET. After the bad news on Mike Maignan’s new injury, Pioli will have back at his disposal Charles De Ketelaere and Simon Kjaer.
The Italian coach declared that his squad is fully focused on Milan vs Monza but it’s clear that Pioli already has an eye on the crucial Champions League match on Tuesday. There will be several formation changes for the match against Monza starting from the defence.
Simon Kjaer has fully recovered and Pioli ill deploy the Danish captain from the first minute alongside Fikayo Tomori. The English is suspended in Champions. Pierre Kalulu will be rested for match against Dinamo Zagreb. Sergino Dest will play from the start with Theo Hernandez completing the back four.
Changes will take place also in midfield. Tommaso Pobega will take Sandro Tonali’s spot alongside Ismael Bennacer. De Ketelaere will be available but the Belgian does not have 90 minutes in his legs. Pioli does not want to risk him and will deploy Brahim Diaz in the attacking midfielder role.
Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud will also be rested for the upcoming Champions match. The French striker looked tired in recent outings. Divock Origi will finally make his debut in Milan vs Monza. Junior Messias will start on the left with Ante Rebic on the right wing.
