AC Milan face Torino at 20:45 CET, away from San Siro. Coach Pioli loses four players for tonight’s important match.
AC Milan travel to Torino for the 32-nd round of Serie A. The Rossoneri need to bounce back after the disappointing draw with Bologna at San Siro. Torino vs Milan is a match to be won at all costs for Stefano Pioli’s side considering that Inter and Napoli are closely behind.
However, Pioli is forced to deal with an unexpected number of injuries. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ismael Bennacer, Ante Rebic, Samuel Castillejo and Alessio Romagnoli will be unavailable for Torino vs Milan. A huge blow for the Italian coach who must change the composition of his starting eleven.
The only department intact will be the defence. Pierre Kalulu and Fikayo Tomori have performed excellently at center back leaving captain Romagnoli on the bench. Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez complete the back four with Mike Maignan between the posts.
Sandro Tonali will partner with Franck Kessie in midfield. Stefano Pioli’s initial plan was to deploy Kessie in the attacking midfielder role but Bennacer’s injury has changed things. This way it will be Brahim Diaz to start from the first minute in his natural position.
Alexis Saelemaekers is set to take over from Junior Messias on the right wing. The Belgian winger, together with Diaz and Rafael Leao will be in support of Olivier Giroud. The French striker will lead the attack once again with Ibrahimovic out because of an overload on hi left knee.
TORINO Probable XI (3-4-2-1): Berisha; Izzo, Bremer, Rodriguez; Singo, Lukic, Mandragora, Vojvoda; Pobega, Belotti, Brekalo.
AC MILAN Probable XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan, Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Hernandez, Tonali, Kessie, Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao,
Giroud.
