Tomorrow, AC Milan face Lecce away from San Siro. The Rossoneri need a victory to not lose sight of Inter.
AC Milan shift their focus to Serie A after a stunning Champions League display against Paris Saint-Germain. The Rossoneri have failed to find victory in the last three Serie A games and currently find themselves six points behind Inter. Immediate change of course is needed and on Saturday, AC Milan will face Lecce away from San Siro.
Stefano Pioli will confirm for Lecce vs Milan the 4-2-3-1 formation and proved successful against PSG. The defence will remain unchanged with Malicka Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori forming the central duo while captain Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez complete the back four. Simon Kjaer will be unavailable for Milan vs Lecce.
Pioli’s decision to transfer Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the trequartista role proved to be match-winning move with the English midfielder dominating his PSG counterparts. Loftus-Cheek will start in the same position against Lecce but this time it will be Rade Krunic to partner with Reijnders and not Yunus Musah.
Another player that will be absent for Lecce vs Milan is Christian Pulisic. The American right winger suffered an injury with PSG. However, Samuel Chukwueze has fully recovered and will start from the first minute against Lecce. Chukwueze, together with Rafael Leao, will be in support of Olivier Giroud.
LECCE Probable XI (4-3-3): Falcone, Gendrey, Gendrey, Pongracic, Baschirotto, Gallo, Kaba, Ramadani, Rafia, Strefezza, Krstovic, Bada.
AC MILAN Probable XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan, Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Krunic, Reijnders, Loftus-Cheek, Chukwueze, Rafa Leao, Giroud.
