AC Milan receive offers for two talents
Serie B club Pescara wants to sign on loan two AC Milan youngsters Matteo Gabbia and Daniel Maldini.
MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – Yesterday at Casa Milan there was a meeting between the Rossoneri management and Pescara. Pescara owner Daniele Sebastiani and sporting director Antonio Bocchetti were present, in addition to agent Giuseppe Riso.
According to reports by Sportitalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Pescara has asked to sign a loan AC Milan defender Matteo Gabbia. The 19-year-old centre back joined AC Milan’s first team this season but his game time could be limited with Romagnoli, Duarte, Caldara and Musacchio all fighting for two spots on Giampolo’s starting eleven.
Gabbia was loaned to Lucchese in Serie C last season. He did very well making 29 appearances with Lucchese. The Italy U-20 international has impressed in recent summer friendly game under Marco Giampaolo and the Rossoneri intend to keep him since Mattia Caldara will return only in October or November.
La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira adds that Pescara also attempted a move for Daniel Maldini. The soon-to-be 18-year-old striker scored 8 goals in 23 appearances for Milan Primavera last season. Just like Matteo Gabbia, Paolo’s son too, has joined the first team in pre-season.
Even in this case, AC Milan’s position is clear. Daniel Maldini has grown between training with the first team and playing for Milan Primavera. The club wants to continue this routine but a transfer on loan could be re-discussed in January 2020.
