Paqueta agent at Casa Milan to negotiate player sale
The agent of Rossoneri midfielder Lucas Paqueta was at Casa Milan today to find a solution regarding the sale of the player.
The remaining days of the January transfer window are destined to be quite busy for the Rossoneri as Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban are looking to sell at least one important player in order to finance signings.
Three are the players that can guarantee AC Milan a healthy return: Piatek, Jesus Suso and Lucas Paqueta. With the change of formation from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 the Brazilian talent has become a redundancy making just a 5 minute appearance against Sampdoria.
There is no doubt that the 22-year-old midfielder is one of the most talented players of the Rossoneri squad but after one year at San Siro he has failed to show his true qualities scoring just one goal and assisting three in 32 appearances so far.
At this point it seems like AC Milan have lost patience and are eager to sell Paqueta. PSG are the only interested club to have came former for the former Flamengo star. However, the French club have offered a figure of around 20-25 million euros, too far from what Leonardo paid one year ago to sign him from Flamengo.
In order to accelerate his departure Paqueta’s agent Eduardo Uram was at Casa Milan to discuss the future of the player. The parties are trying to find a solution with Paqueta happy to join Leonardo at PSG. Milan are not willing to let him leave for a figure of less than €35 million. Time is ticking for Milan, PSG and Pauqeta to find the best solution.
