In a few weeks AC Milan will meet UEFA to re-discuss the penalties for the Financial Fair Play breach.

Disturbing news arrive from UEFA. A few months after taking control of AC Milan Elliot must deal with deal with the mess of previous owners, Yonghong Li and Silvio Berlusconi. The Rossoneri were readmitted in Europa League but that doesn’t mean that the issues is closed. In fact a severe punishment is expected soon.

According to La Repubblica, UEFA, in addition to a penalty still to be defined, could confiscate AC Milan’s Europa League prize money. The European football governing body has already frozen prize money and cash-outs resulting from the participation in Europa League, pending a new hearing session with the club to re-discuss the Settlement Agreement.

At the moment, however, technical issues are more urgent in Casa Milan. After the derby defeat against Inter, coach Gennaro Gattuso has became a target of critics and the fans are demanding his head.

The club has yet to take an official position on the matter and rumors about Roberto Donadoni as next coach continue to grow. A victory in today’s Europa League encounter against Real Betis could inject the necessary tranquility at the club.
