German luxury cars manufacturer BMW is favorite in the race with KIA to become the new car sponsor of AC Milan.
After the departure of Audi, the Rossoneri are still looking for a Car Sponsor. The old management lead by Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli failed to reach a deal with a car brand. So it is up to the new one to try and find a satisfying agreement.
The AC Milan sales department is already active. It is no coincidence that in recent weeks there has been talk of a possible contract with the South Korean automobile manufacturer KIA. A non-random choice, given that it is part of the Hyundai group of which the Elliott fund is a shareholder. Negotiations seem promising but in the last hours a new interesting opportunity is emerging.
Tuttosport writes today that German giant BMW is keen on becoming a partner of Milan and considered as favorites in the race with KIA. This would be a high-level sponsorship that would certainly be good for Milan also in terms of image. BMW produces luxury automobiles and motorcycles and is one of the most famous car brads in the world.
Obviously the terms of the contract will decide the winner. The club needs to grow a lot in terms of turnover and therefore it is important to get the most revenue possible. Ivan Gazidis, future CEO of the Rossoneri, is working on it.
At this moment there seems to be a real duel between KIA and BMW to become the new Milan Car Sponsor. A signal that the Rossoneri brand is again attractive like in the old days. According to reports, by the end of the year or at most at the beginning of 2019 the club will announce an agreement and Milan will have a new sponsor.
