AC Milan will sign a new striker this summer. The Rossoneri are monitoring three young forwards reports Tuttosport.
AC Milan are already looking forward to the future according to Tuttosport. The Rossoneri are expected to make an important investment in attack this summer. With Ibrahimovic likely to retire at the end of the season, Olivier Giroud turning 36 and Divock Origi mostly injured, Milan want to add a new centre forward to their ranks.
The Italian champions are following with great interest the development of three names reports the Italian newspaper. Chelsea’s Armando Broja is high on Paolo Maldini’s list of targets. The Albania international returned to the Blues after two successful seasons on loan at Vitesse and Southampton. He has struggled for game time this season but his talent is not in doubt.
AC Milan are also deeply impressed by Rasmus Hojlund. The 19-year-old Danish stringer has been compared to Man City superstar Erling Haaland for their similar style of football. Rasmus Hojlund started his career at Copenhagen and in January moved to Sturm Graz. Hojlund scored 12 goals and assisted 4 in 21 appearances in six months.
The 19-year-old joined Atalanta this summer for a fee of €17 million. The Denmark international has settled in really well in Gian Piero Gasperini’s side. Hojlund is fast, left-footed, 1.91 m tall, has a good nose for goal and is a classy finisher. Maldini and Massara will continue to monitor his Serie A performances closer knowing that Atalanta is an expensive shop.
The third young striker on AC Milan’s list is Mohammed Kudus. The 22-year-old Ghana international is in his third year at Ajax following his €9 million transfer from Nordsjaelland. Kudus started his career as an attacking midfielder but has transitioned in the centre forward role following the departure of Sebastien Haller. Kudus has 8 goals and one assists to his name in 14 appearances with Ajax so far.
