Montella at Sevilla, here’s how much money Milan spare

Former AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella was just appointed as the new coach of Sevilla. A happy news for the Rossoneri who save millions of euros they were paying as compensation for breach of contract.

Former Rossoneri coach Vincenzo Montella has officially moved to Spain, as the new coach of Sevilla where he takes charge after the sacking of Eduardo Berizzo. According to reports by Calcio & Finanza, AC Milan will be more than happy with this decision since the club will now save a considerable amount of money they were paying as compensation for the sacking of Montella.

The red and blacks were forced to pay Vincenzo Montella the remaining part of his contract. Now that he is appointed as the new Sevilla coach the Rossoneri will save a total of 4.5 million euros net, 8.32 million gross. A considerable amount that AC Milan could reinvest on the January transfer window.
