Mirabelli on a mission: Viareggio and Germany-Brazil

Massimiliano Mirabelli continues his tireless scouting work and in these two weeks will travel to three different places to monitor his mercato targets.

Serie A championship stops for two weeks due to the international break, while the one who will not remain firm in these days is the sports director of AC Milan, Massimiliano Mirabelli, who will be traveling to look for potential reinforcements. On Mirabelli’s list there are already several names he will follow closely to evaluate their progress.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, the first part of his journey will be in Italy and precisely in Tuscany where the Viareggio Cup is in progress, the most important and famous youth tournament in the world. Mirabelli could already be present today for the second round of AC Milan Primavera against Parma, or on Friday for the quarter finals of the competition. AC Milan want to focus a lot on young players for the future and therefore the Viareggio Cup could be an excellent opportunity to find new talents.

Subsequently, the Rossoneri manager will take a plane because his mission will move to Europe. In particular, on Tuesday, there are two very interesting friendlies, namely Germany-Brazil and Spain-Argentina. Mirabelli will be in Berlin to observe closely some players who are top targets for next summer. These include goalkeeper Leno and midfielder Julian Brandt, both playing for Bayer Leverkusen and also Max Meyer. The Rossoneri manager has a certain preference for German football and wants to keep doing business there after purchasing Rodriguez and Calhanoglu last summer.
