Milan target David Silva decides his next club

AC Milan transfer target and Manchester City star David Silva has already decided where he will play next.

At 34, David Silva wants to change club. The Manchester City playmaker, still among the most technical players in circulation, will leave the Citizens at the end of the season.

His contract with Manchester City will expire at the end of the season and Silva is able to join a new club on a free transfer. According to ESPN, a choice has been made: the City number 21 will return to his former club Valencia, the team he grew up in and launched him at the highest high levels.

Silva therefore aims for a sensational and romantic return home. Contacts between his agents and Valencia are already in place and at an advanced stage. Nothing to do for Milan, who had hoped to convince him to end his career in Italy.

The Rossoneri were very serious in their attempt to sign David Silva. In March AC Milan held a meeting with his agents but apparently unable to convince Silva to move in Serie A.

David Silva will follow in the footsteps of several of his compatriots, who at the end of their career have chosen to return to their respective ‘parent clubs’. Like Fernando Torres who returned to Atletico Madrid, or recently Santi Cazorla who returned to Villarreal.
