Milan to make double signing from Roma in order to land Cengiz Under

AC Milan want to sign right winger Cengiz Under at all cost and preparing a double swoop to convince Roma.

In the remaining two weeks of the January transfer window AC Milan will try to strengthen the attack. The arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not enough especially considering that Suso and Piatek may leave the Rossoneri.

Besides negotiations for Dani Olmo who may arrive from Dinao Zagreb for a overall fee of €30 million, the Rossoneri are also trying to bring at San Siro Roma talent Cengiz Under.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, AC Milan have prioritized the arrival of Cengiz Under at all cost and are ready to make a double signing in order to convince Roma. After failing to sign Matteo Politano from Inter, Roma are also in search of a right winger with Suso one of their top transfer targets.

“Milan have not received any offers for Suso. The Rossoneri want to sign Under and his agent was in Milan today. Roma so far has not given an opening. AC Milan would be willing to sign Under in exchange for Suso and would also accept Juan Jesus as a back up for Romagnoli and possibly as replacement for Rodriguez. Maldini and Boban are talking with the agent of Under every day“, reports Di Marzio. 

Cengiz Under was a key member of Roma’s squad in the first two season but since the breakthrough of Zaniolo he has lost his place in the starting eleven. The 22-year-old Turkish right winger has made 14 appearances this season, mostly as a substitute. Juan Jesus has been reduced to only 4 appearances so far.
