La Gazzetta dello Sport reports today the players AC Milan are expected to sell in order to fund other signings.
After selling the two full backs, Mattia De Sciglio and Leonel Vangioni, now it is time to empty even the other departments. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports today that the first names to soon leave AC Milan are Gabriel Paletta, Jose Sosa, Jose Mauri and Carloss Bacca. Apparently even one between Gustavo Gomez and Cristian Zapata has to leave the team. However, from all the above mentioned players, the only one from which the club hopes to get a considerable figure is the Colombian attacker. But first things first.
Paletta, highlights La Gazzetta, despite the many requests (this, at least, what his agent claims) is still in the group, although in fact already excluded by manager Montella. Chasing the 31 year old Italian-Argentine (except Genoa and Fiorentina) there has long been Torino. The rossoneri’s former manager, Sinisa Mihajlovic, according to rumors, has contacted the player on the phone to convince him to join the Granata project.
Gustavo Gomez risks to see the pitch much less this season as well as Zapata, but both may remain, even because AC Milan are not currently planning other signings in defense, so their sacrifice is unnecessary.
Different situation in the midfield and in attack. AC Milan want to give Vincenzo Montella a new midfielder and a big name for the attack. To do this, however, the rossoneri must first make room. The Argentinean, Jose Sosa does not seem willing to leave Milan, the technician considers him a redundancy but the midfielder, through his agent, has made it known that he does not want to leave. Even Jose Mauri is not part of L’Aeroplanino’s plans, with Renato Sanches gladly to take his place. But the bigger puzzle remains Bacca. Selling the Colombianm, at an appropriate price, will be far from easy.
