AC Milan coach Sefano Pioli wants an alternative to Brahim Diaz. The Rossoneri are already on the move.
The January transfer window opens in exactly one month. The Rossoneri are challenging for the Serie A title this season but it’s obvious that the current squad needs a few improvements. The management is examining carefully the situation in defence, however, fresh faces are expected to arrive in attack.
According to MilanNews.it, Stefano Pioli has made a specific transfer demand to the management. The AC Milan coach has asked for a new attacking midfielder as an alternative to Brahim Diaz. The new attacking midfielder must also be able to play on the right wing.
Junior Messias arrived on loan during the summer to cover this role but so far his contribution has been minimal. The Brazilian has made only four appearances without playing a single match for the entire 90 minutes.
The Rossoneri are already on the move. AC Milan’s primary transfer target for that role remains French talent Romain Faivre. The 23-year-old was very close to joining Milan during the summer but talks broke down at the very last moment. Nevertheless, Romain Faivre’s transfer to AC Milan may have only been postponed.
Brest are open to selling their star man for a fee close to €15 million. Faivre has been one of the best players in Ligue 1 until now. In 14 appearances with Brest, Faivre has scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists. Excellent numbers for the 23-year-old French star that continue to intrigue AC Milan.
