AC Milan have received the first offer for Lucas Paqueta who is sure to leave the Rossoneri when the summer market opens.
Lucas Paqueta will not be part of the AC Milan squad in the future. A fact that is no longer news, given that the 22-year-old midfielder has been out of the Rossoneri’s plans for a while.
An absolute talent that seems to have been lost along the way. After a comforting start in his first season with the Rossoneri, Paqueta failed to repeat the good performances under Gattuso, perhaps also due to the inability to insert himself tactically in the squad of Giampaolo first and then Pioli.
Lucas Paqueta will leave Milan when the summer transfer window opens and one club above all is insisting to secure his services. For a long time Fiorentina has been in contacts with the Brazilian talent.
According to Calciomercato, Fiorentina and AC Milan are negotiating the transfer of Paqueta to Firenze and talks have progressed. The Rossoneri are desperately tryning to sell Paqueta and the players is in favor of a move to Fiorentina. Apparently Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has already presented an offer to Milan. The Viola have proposed a loan move for Paqueta with the obligation to buy.
A solution similar to the one that brought Patrick Cutrone, ex Milan star, to Fiorentina in January. According to the reports, Fiorentina would loan the former Flamengo for two years, until June 2022, before signing the Brazilian on a permanent transfer.
AC Milan on the other hand would prefer to sell Lucas immediately. The Rossoneri so far have invested 38.4 million for the Brazilian talented who could end up being the most expensive signing in AC Milan history. The asking price of Rossoneri is 30-33 million euros but at the moment Fiorentina can hardly afford such an expense. Negotiations are ongoing but they are expected to be long. The good news is that there exists the will of both clubs, and the player, to reach a deal.
