AC Milan have been very active bringing new players in San Siro, now it’s time for several players to say goodbye.

The rossoneri are unstoppable in the transfer market. Fassone and Mirabelli with the support of the new Chinese ownership have managed to sign Mateo Musacchio from Villarreal, Franck Kessie from Atalanta, Ricardo Rodriguez from Wolfsburg, Andre Silva from Porto, Fabio Borini from Sunderland and today the club will announce the official signing of Hakan Calhanoglu from Bayer Leverkusen (read here).

In the coming days, AC Milan should close the seventh signing in this summer transfer market window, that is, Andrea Conti, 23 year old defender who plays for Atalanta. Alongside Gigio Donnarumma, Davide Calabria and Manuel Locatelli he played the European Under 21 with Italy. Also counting for his upcoming arrival, the rossoneri squad is made up of 35 players. That is too high, although next season Milan will have to play in three competitions. For this reason, as Tuttosport reports, AC Milan have been very active in the transfer market, now the club has to start thinking about the players that should leave the team.

However, it will not be an easy task the one that awaits CEO Marco Fassone and sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli. This is for two reasons. First of all, the players that are part of the rossoneri rarely want to leave, and then potential buyers will play down their value as they know that Milan needs to sell many players. Fassone and Mirabelli will try to gain as much money as possible from the sale of several unwanted players to reinvest those resources on other potential signings. Till now the rossoneri have spent almost 135 million euros with that figure expected to arrive at 200 millions.

Andrea Poli & Suso

Analyzing the current squad, the department that will have to be reduced mostly is without a doubt the defense. Gabriel Paletta is close to Torino, Zapata has been overtaken in the internal hierarchies by Gustavo Gomez. About to leave are also Rodrigo Ely, Simic and Vergara. On the flanks, Mattia De Sciglio and Vangioni should both leave. Ready to fill their places are the new purchases Conti and Ricardo Rodriguez. As for the midfield and attack, expected to departure soon are Kucka, Sosa, Bertolacci, Mauri, Bacca, Lapadula and Niang. Finally, special attention must be payed to Suso. According to Tuttosport, if a considerable offer is about to come, he too may risk saying goodbye to Milan.
