AC Milan have made an official complaint to FIFA against Trabzonspor. The Turkish club signed Juraj Kucka and Jose Ernesto Sosa but hadn’t paid a part of the transfer fee.

The bond between AC Milan and the Turkish club of Trabzonspor in recent years has been positive. A visible result due to some successfully completed transfer market operations.

A feeling that, however, is likely to stop abruptly, reports CNN Turk today. It seems that AC Milan have made an official complaint to FIFA against Trabzonspor, due to the non-payment of some money that the Turkish club in question owed Milan after the signing of two former Rossoneri midfielders Juraj Kucka and Jose Ernesto Sosa.

Trabzonspor was supposed to pay AC Milan 13 million Turkish liras (about 2.1 million euros). FIFA threatened Trabzonspor with transfer activity ban if the sum would not be disbursed soon. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turkish club immediately send a check to Milan containing the entire figure thus avoiding sanctions from FIFA.

Kucka was sold to Trabzonspor for about 5 million euros, while Sosa was the subject of a loan of 1.35 million with obligation to buy set at 3.4 million. The transfer of the Slovak midfielder took place in the summer of 2017, while the Argentine joined one year later. The former Genoa performed very well with the Rossoneri jersey while his colleague did not leave particular positive memories to the fans.
