AC Milan are willing to let young striker Lorenzo Colombo leave since Mario Mandzukic will be the back-up in attack.

In the first half of the season it was youngster Lorenzo Colombo to serve as Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s back-up in attack. Now, with the arrival of Mario Mandzukic, the Italian centre forward can leave in order to play more.

Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio confirms the possible exit of the 18-year-old striker in January. Lorenzo Colombo has requests from Serie B clubs, in particular from Brescia and Cremonese.

A loan move until the end of the season would be very good for the career of the former Primavera star. At AC Milan his space is very limited, especially after Mandzukic’s signing.

Brescia and Cremonese are ready to offer Colombo constant play time. The Rossoneri are in negotiations with both clubs and will choose the best alternative that’s more suitable to the boy. This season Lorenzo has made 9 appearances scoring once.

Cremonese are currently leading the race for the Italian striker. Ariedo Braida, a legendary figure at the Rossoneri, is the current spoting director of Cremonese and would like to do business with his old club.
