Despite the summer transfer window ending a few days ago Mirabelli and Fassone are working for new players to join Milan soon.

AC Milan’s duo Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli clearly explained in recent days: if Milan were to reach access to the next Champions League, the club would have the necessary resources to avoid damaging the current squad and to make new investments. So, much of the future technical project depends on qualifying to the most important European club competition, which would secure the needed revenue for Milan next season, hoping that marketing strategies and partnerships on East could also lead to an increase from the financial point of view.

Meanwhile, the management has started to think already about possible signings for a Champions League Milan in 2018-2019 season. The rossoneri have already spent a lot and clearly strengthened the team, but something still seems to be missing. For example, a midfielder of high talent and quality, demanded by Vincenzo Montella in the last few days of the transfer window. Rafinha of Barcelona was a possibility, Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich and Krychowiak from PSG also, all targets in the end missed by the rossoneri both for lack of money and for agreements not found with the respective clubs.

But in a case of Champions League qualification, Milan have already prepared the right name to complete the midfield: Sergei Milinkovic Savic, Serbian midfielder from Lazio. A pure talent that, according to Tuttosport, is a top target of the red and blacks also thanks to good relations with Claudio Lotito. Lazio yesterday confirmed Milinkovic Savic’s definitive signing from Genk, his old team that owned 50% of his card in the case of a future resale of the player, so now Lazio are able to handle the midfielder’s future as they thinks best.

Arturo Vidal

AC Milan are preparing to make a bid of 50 million euros, a figure that would be enough to convince Lazio to surrender its jewel, unless there are more bids from big international clubs. Also Milan are confident of making an important bid for Bayern Munich’s Vidal. An international level midfielder, a champion able to raise the team’s technical level even further. For Arturo Vidal, the rossoneri have already inquired in recent months, he is a player of particularly for the red and blacks, especially if he does not renew his contract (expiring in 2019) with Bayern Munich.
