Inter have entered the race for AC Milan’s target and 19 year old midfielder of Boca Juniors, Gonzalo Maroni. The Argentine club values the player at 10 million.
The Rossoneri continue their pursuit of Boca Juniors young attacking midfielder Gonzalo Maroni. AC Milan and the Argentine club discussed a transfer in the January window, including the youngster in negotiations for Gustavo Gomez. A deal failed to materialize and both players remained in their respective clubs. Now the red and blacks are ready to restart talks and try to find an agreement for the summer.
In addition to Milan, there is also interest from Inter. Tuttosport reports that the Nerazzurri aim to make a double offer to the Xeneizes. They would like to purchase both Maroni and Nahitan Nandez. An operation of about 35 million euros that Suning seems willing to approve, after having already secured a promising striker like Lautaro Martinez.
For now, Boca Juniors value Maroni at million euros but interest from the two Milanese teams could trigger an auction that may increase the price tag of the young midfielder to 15 million euros.
