CorSport: Milan-Higuain, the reason of final break up

AC Milan star striker Gonzalo Higuain is almost sure to leave after the Super Cup final greatly disappointed with certain decisions of the club.

Gonzalo Higuain and AC Milan are destined to part ways quickly. Il Corriere dello Sport reports that the Argentine striker has expressed his preference to the Rossoneri management a few month ago. Chelsea will be his upcoming destination but his head is already there.

In particular, reveals the newspaper, Higuain’s first communication was with Gennaro Gattuso. This explains the various cryptic quotes of the Italian coach: “When a player decides to go…“, or “If he is not happy here…“, or even “I can not get into his head…” and “I can not give guarantees about his future…“.

Higuain will depart after the Super Cup final, this should be the scenario. Among the various reasons that have pushed the 31 year old towards a sensational premature divorce there is also his disappointment on the lack of clarity from Elliott Management Corporation. Because the player, after the summer deal, was convinced that his permanent signing was morally obligatory. Morally because from a formal point of view Milan was free right from the start, the contract stated an option to buy and not obligation. Although at certain figures it seemed an almost obligatory purchase.

On the other hand, Blues president Roman Abramovic assured him that this time the parties will not be limited to a simple chat as happened in the summer. Chelsea are serious in their intentions and will guarantee his purchase after an 18 months loan period. Contacts between the parties are frequent.

In the last hours there was a blitz by Fali Ramani, intermediary of this operation, in Milan to meet Fabio Paratici, then the continuous contacts between Nicolas Higuain (brother agent of El Pipita) and the English management. The presence of the two clubs in Jeddah can be decisive.
