AC Milan suffered a big blow when UEFA decided to exclude Gennaro Gattuso’s squad from Europa League. Now the Rossoneri have a new opportunity to reach an agreement with UEFA.
UEFA’s decision to ban AC Milan for one season from Europa League was perhaps the biggest shocker that the Rossoneri have suffered in recent seasons. Fortunately, the CAS Tribunal of Lausanne overturned the sentence and now the Red and Blacks are readmitted in European competitions.
Now, the Financial Fair Play remains an important issue on the club’s agenda. La Stampa reports today that the readmission reasons that CAS will make public very soon will offer Milan the possibility to negotiate a new Voluntary Agreement with UEFA, a solution no longer impossible after the change of ownership.
