Milan-Ceballos: 3 problems to solve
AC Milan are negotiating the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos but there are three obstacles to overcome.
MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – AC Milan or not one thing is certain, Dani Ceballos is leaving Real Madrid this summer. The 22-year-old central midfielder doesn’t go along well with coach Zinedine Zidane and the Frenchman’s return at Los Blancos means that there is no more place for the Spanish midfielder at Real.
The Rossoneri are currently in search of a top central midfielder. AC Milan are playing on many fronts with Maldini and Boban in continuous contacts with Barella, Veretout and Sensi. The AC Milan management duo was in Spain yesterday and met with Real Madrid general director Jose Angel Sanchez.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Real Madrid confirmed that Dani Ceballos is for sale but there are some problems. Three to be precise. The first and the most important is the price tag of the central midfielder. Real Madrid value Ceballos at €45-50 million while AC Milan would prefer to spend 10 million less.
The second obstacle is the competition of Tottenham. Los Blancos and the English club are negotiating the transfer of Christian Eriksen to Madrid. Real are trying lower Tottenham’s economic demands by including Ceballos in this operation.
