Milan-Brescia: The Rososneri make their home debut against Brescia. After the disappointing defeat with Udinese, Marco Giampaolo is planning several changes.

SERIE A – It is not just a question of formation. As Tuttosport points out, AC Milan will also have to change several starting players in order to offer an immediate reaction and turn page after the Udinese fiasco.

Among Giampaolo’s first moves is going to be the abandonment of role experimenting. The match against Udinese showed that Hakan Calhanoglu is not a regista, Suso is not a playmaker and Samuel Castillejo also struggled as second striker. Lucas Paqueta and Fabio Borini too could have done better as central midfielders.

Therefore, learning from the defeat against Udinese, several changes are expected. On Saturday at San Siro, AC Milan make their home debut against Brescia and one guarantee is the start of Ismael Bennacer in the middle of the park. The former Empoli is a true regista and not a surrogate.

The other novelty in midfield will be Frank Kessie despite his error during Rodrigo Becao’s goal at the Dacia Arena. Kessie guarantees more cover in midfield. In attack, instead, room for Rafael Leao. Piatek needs quality and lucidity to end his drought in front of the goal.

Andrea Conti could be the surprise of Milan-Brescia. After Udinese-Milan, coach Marco Giampaolo complained about the lack of pressure from the flanks and he could decide to shake even the fullbacks. The performance of Davide Calabria was certainly very disappointing but he could replace Ricardo Rodriguez on the left with Conti to start on the right. The formation for Milan vs Brescia will be 4-3-2-1 or at most 4-3-3.
