AC Milan transfer target Everton Soares

AC Milan are in advanced contacts with Gremio star Everton Soares. The Brazilian left winger could leave this summer in case of a 40 million euros offer.

We will likely see a more Brazilian Milan next season if Leonardo’s moves are successful. After having already brought Lucas Paqueta in January, the sporting director of AC Milan is now on the trail of another Brazilian talent whom he sees as future star. Everton Soares, 23-year-old left winger of Gremio, seems destined for a bright career and just recently has become a member of the Brazilian national team.

AC Milan’s intention is to act just like for Paqueta. The Rossoneri want to anticipate competition and try to sign Everton before other big European clubs express their interest. After scoring 17 goals last season, Soares is ready to migrate to the old continent and join a top club. A good dribbler, fast and with a natural smelling for goal Everton Soares could be AC Milan’s solution for the left wing.

Transfer news, AC Milan in advanced contacts with Gremio star Everton Soares

Globoesporte confirms that Milan have initiated contacts since January with Everton’s agent Gilmar Veloz. The Rossoneri consider him one of most important transfer targets for this summer. The Red and Blacks have collaborated with agent Gilmar Veloz in the past when he brought Pato to Milan. However, AC Milan are not the only European club in talks with Everton with Manchester City very interested in him too.

The winger that can also play as second striker has a stratospheric release clause of 80 million euros. Gremio are aware that with so much interest in him it will be impossible to keep the 23-year-old beyond this summer. The Brazilian club is willing to part ways with Everton in case of a 40 million euros offer.

Recently when asked about the possibility of a transfer to AC Milan, Everton Soares replied: “Why not? I even told Paqueta that, if everything goes well, we can soon be teammates. I’m very happy about the interest of a giant European team. Let’s see what happens“.
