AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is getting closer to Manchester United with the Rossoneri ready to consider a swap deal.

Manchester United appear to be the club closest to Hakan Calhanoglu. The contract of the Turkish attacking midfielder with AC Milan expires on 30 June. The parties are far from reaching an agreement due to the high demands of Calhanoglu’s agent.

The Rossoneri number 10 wants to earn 7 million euros per season. A very high figure that AC Milan have no intention of accepting thus the chances that the former Bayer Leverkusen leave increase day by day.

Manchester United want to bring Calhanoglu to the Premier League and may decide to anticipate his arrival in January. Contacts with Milan are constant due to Dalot, whom the Rossoneri would like to keep in the squad. According to MilanLive.it, there is a chance that both players could be included in the same negotiation.

If Manchester United were to allow AC Milan to sign Diogo Dalot permanently at reasonable figures, the Rossoneri could decide to deprive themselves of Calhanoglu in January.

In the summer of 2017 AC Milan spent 24 million to purchase Calhanoglu from Bayer Leverkusen. While in 2018 Diogo Dalot joined Manchester United from Porto for 22 million. The Portuguese defender has made 5 appearances with the Red and Blacks so far.
