Man City to make ‘crazy’ swap offer for AC Milan star
Manchester City remain highly interested in AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez and are ready to propose a sensational swap deal.
“I’m very proud that it was my turn to wear the captain armband. I’m fine and we want to put pressure on Inter, we have to win them all. We are talking about the renewal with the club, we are at a very good point”, said Theo Hernandez at the end of the match against Venezia where he scored a brace.
The 24-year-old French defender is in advanced talks with AC Milan to extend his contact until 2027. The Rossoneri consider Theo a key player but it looks like Manchester City are ready to test AC Milan’s reluctance to sell.
90min.com reports that the Premier League champions are very interested in his services. Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is a big admirer of Theo Hernandez and would love to bring the AC Milan full-back in England. Guardiola plans to sign a new left-back in January to replace Benjamin Mendy who is having problems with justice.
Pep Guardiola is reportedly willing to let go Bernardo Silva in order to bring Theo Hernandez at Manchester City. Both players are rated at 60 million euros, a swap between two players of equal value. AC Milan tried to sing the Portuguese attacking midfielder during the summer but the player preferred to stay in England.
The 27-year-old has returned to play a key role for the Citizens this season. Bernardo Silva has scored 8 goals and assisted 2 in 27 appearances confirming himself as one of the best players in the Premier League.
