AC Milan are planning Kalulu-like signing from Monaco
AC Milan are working to lure highly-rated midfielder Mamadou Coulibaly from Monaco, using the example of Pierre Kalulu.
The fight for the Scudetto is not preventing AC Milan from looking to the future. Against Empoli, a player who perfectly embodies the Rossoneri’s philosophy of looking at the player as much as the future proved to be the match winner. Precisely the goal and the performance of Pierre Kalulu could be useful to convince another compatriot who has been for a long time on AC Milan’s radar.
The Rossoneri have a great interest in Monaco starlet Mamadou Coulibaly reports Gazzetta. The 17-year-old French midfielder is compared to Camavinga in his homeland and is followed by a number of important European clubs.
AC Milan have moved ahead and well, intensifying talks with the player in recent days. Milan have elaborated an integration plan for Coulibaly. The Rossoneri have a proven track of focusing on young players and enhancing their potential. Milan are offering Mamadou Coulibaly a similar path to that which allowed Kalulu to make space for himself in Stefano Pioli’s squad and fight for the Scudetto.
In short, the deeds of the former Lyon are the best spot for Maldini and Moncada who have long had their eyes on Coulibaly. The talented central midfielder, in perspective, could be the ideal replacement for Franck Kessie. He plays as a playmaker as well as regista.
Coulibaly, who like Kalulu at the time, has not yet made his debut in Ligue 1. He is currently playing for Monaco Under-19 and becomes a free agent at the end of the season. For this reason, other clubs have moved to secure his services. First of all Tottenham, but also Manchester City and some German and French clubs. In Italy, Juventus are interested besides AC Milan.
