Maignan reveals hilarious exchange with Inter employee
AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan had a funny exchange with an Inter employee before the derby.
AC Milan win the Derby della Madonnina. The Rossoneri secure three valuable points thanks to an incredible comeback with a brace from Olivier Giroud. With just one point of distance between the two clubs the race for the Scudetto is considered opened now.
While the French striker may grab the headlines for his two goals, it was Mike Maignan to save the result on a number of occasions. The French goalkeeper was truly impeccable with his interventions throughout the 90 minutes.
After the derby, Mike Miagnan shared an hilarious exchange he had had with an Inter employee before the match at San Siro. The 26-year-old shot-stopper revealed everything with a post on Instagram.
“Yesterday when I wanted, as usual, to park the car at the stadium, the valet said to me: ‘Sorry, but today your car must stay outside! This is Inter’s home this weekend. “I replied:” You have just changed the furniture without my permission! San Siro was presented to me as the home of Milan.”
AC Milan purchased Maignan last summer for a fee of 16 million euros from Lille. The French star arrived in the midst of high skepticism following the departure of Gianluigi Donnarumma but Magic Mike was proved he’s a world class goalkeeper.
