Lyon’s Memphis Depay continues to be the main target of AC Milan for the attack but the French have no intention of letting him go without a fight.
The 24 year old Dutch talent plays with Lyon in France and tops AC Milan’s list of targets for the position of the left winger. The Rossoneri have already made an inquiry for the former Manchester United star but the OL’s response has been rather scary from an economic point of view.
According to Calciomercato.com, Depay is worth 50 million euros, a disproportionate amount for the coffers of AC Milan. Due to upcoming UEFA’s sanctions and Financial Fair Play limitations the club can not afford to spend such a figure on a single player. However, with the sale of one of the stars like Gianluigi Donnarumma or even Suso, the Rossoneri would be able to meet Lyon’s demands.
Memphis Depay joined the French side on January 2017 and has been one of the best performers of Ligue 1 ever since. At the time he was paid around 25 million euros and now Lyon ask for double that amount in order to let him go. This season the 24 year old Dutch winger has scored 19 goals and assisted 17 time in 50 appearances.
