Club confirms interest in Milan star Suso

AC Milan star winger Jesus Suso is one the main candidates that can leave San Siro this summer.

MILAN NEWS – The future of Jesus Suso is one of the big summer mysteries this year. The Spanish star winger of AC Milan has been in talks with the club for the past year regarding a contract renewal but the parties have not made progress so far.

According to various reports from the Italian media Suso is still on the market and for the right offer AC Milan are willing to sell him. While Milan coach Marco Giampaolo would like to keep him and use the former Liverpool as trequartista.

After a great performance against Manchester United, Giampolo declared: “Suso is top class. He is a strong player and we have to keep the top players. I said this to the club and to him. It’s not an issue. He drives me crazy and is a player that can be decisive”. However, the possibility that Suso gets sold this summer it’s still high.

Lyon is one of the clubs that are after the Spanish winger. The French club are in search of a new winger after selling Nabil Fekir to Real Betis. In an interview with RMC Sport, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas confirmed the interest in the AC Milan star: “Suso is one of the profiles we are following. We’ll see after the match on Friday“.

AC Milan signed Jesus Suso from Liverpool in 2015 for just one million euros. The 25-year-old right winger has made 136 appearances with the Rossoneri scoring 23 goals. Suso has a 38 million euros release clause in his contract with Milan.
