Tonight’s Lille vs Milan will decide the winner of Europa League group H. The Rossoneri will make a couple of changes for this match.
Tonight the Rossoneri travel to France to face Lille, at 18:55 CET at Stade Pierre-Mauroy. Lille vs Milan will very likely be the match to decide who will be the leading squad of Group H with both clubs currently separated by just one point in the standings. The Rossoneri look in fine form after the important win against Napoli but Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be able to help the team for a few games.
For Lille vs Milan, coach Stefano Pioli (again it will be Bonera to lead the squad) will make a couple of changes starting from the defence. Captain Alessio Romagnoli will be given a rest with Matteo Gabbia taking his place alongside Simon Kjaer. Theo will be on the left with Diogo Dalot taking Calabria’s place on the right.
As usual in Europa League games, Sandro Tonali will start from the first minute against the French club. The Italian talent will partner with Ismael Bennacer at the heart of the midfield while up front there will be a never before seen trio.
Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao are both out for this match thus leaving few choices to the coach. Samu Castillejo will play on the right wing while on the other hand Jens Peter Hauge will be given his first minute debut. The Norwegian has scored 2 goals so far in a total of 61 minute played.
Hakan Calhanoglu will be in support of Ante Rebic, although Brahim Diaz could be the surprise. The Croatian has been chosen to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the centre forward role. Rebic returned to play from the first minute against Napoli after a couple of weeks injured.
LILLE (4-4-2): Maignan; Pied, Fonte, Botman, Bradaric; Ikone, Andre, Soumare, Bamba; David, Yazici.
AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma G.; Dalot, Kjaer, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Castillejo; Calhanoglu (Diaz); Hauge; Rebic.
