Former AC Milan sporting director wants to bring Tiemoue Bakayoko at PSG after the Rossoneri failed to sign him on a permanent deal.
MILAN NEWS – Few would have predicted at the beginning of the season that, after the initial struggles, Tiemoue Bakayoko would become one of AC Milan’s best players. He won over the Rossoneri fans. just like he promised, but his attitude off the pitch was often unprofessional.
The 24-year-old would have deserved to stay at Milan for what he showed on the pitch but, in this regard, Maldini and Boban follow Gattuso’s line: respect for teammates is paramount. Bakayoko arrived on loan and AC Milan had an option to make his move permanent but the Rossoneri declined to pay €35 million euros and the French midfielder returned to Chelsea.
However, he may not stay in England for long because Leonardo wants to bring Bakayoko at PSG. According to France Football, PSG are in search of a defensive midfielder and the former Milan star is favorite for the role.
Considering his good performances with Milan it’s likely that Chelsea will demand more than what the Rossoneri could have paid for Bakayoko.
Tiemoue Bakayoko made 42 appearances with AC Milan and scored one goal in the derby against Inter. Despite his good performances, the Rossoneri failed to qualify for Champions League. Unfortunately, Bakayoko’s season was marked but the ugly episode with Acerbi’s jersey and his verbal exchange with coach Gattuso.
