Leonardo confirms another legend return after Maldini

The new AC Milan of Elliot is taking shape. After the arrival of Leonardo, today’s it was Maldini’s turn to make his return. Soon another come-back will take place.

It was Maldini day today at Casa Milan. The legendary captain has returned to AC Milan and will serve as Sporting Strategy & Development Director. But he will not be the only Rossoneri legend to return. 

In today’s press conference Leonardo confirmed Kaka’s willingness to stay close to the new AC Milan: “I love him, he is my protege, he has expressed the desire to learn as a manager, I already knew it. He is AC Milan’s last Ballon d’Or and he will always be linked to the club. He will be in the area.

We do not know how, but Kaka has a great desire to be near, already in September he will be in Milano but there is nothing definitive yet. He only showed willingness to be here, for free (laughs), and to learn. He will be close to us (Leonardo and Maldini)“.

Ricardo Kaka’s upcoming arrival confirms again Elliot’s intention to build a new AC Milan full of Milanese former players. Hopefully the glorious group of Gattuso, Leonardo and Maldini (and very soon Kaka) will be able to replicate their on-pitch results even as managers.
