After Saturday’s defeat with Napoli, AC Milan have returned to normality with Leonardo and Maldini taking care of the usual business.
During the summer, Ricardo Rodriguez was repeatedly approached by foreign clubs and was widely considered as one of the many AC Milan starts that could depart. But at Milanello the line has always been clear coach Gattuso and the club want the Swiss full-back at remain at San Siro.
Calciomercato.com reports that this morning, at Casa Milan, Leonardo and Maldini are having a meeting with Rodriguez and his agent Gianluca Di Domenico. A meeting that does not necessarily have to suggest that the former Wolfsburg can be sold in recent days, considering that in some leagues (for example La Liga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1) the transfer market window is still open. In fact, the Rossoneri technical director had declared he wanted to talk to all the players and today’s meeting could be part of this round.
Leonardo has explained that he wanted to have a face-to-face with the players in such a way as to know them better and to explain them the project of the new ownership. Ricardo Rodriguez is the first to arrive at Casa Milan this week, but we imagine that there will be other meetings in the coming days.
