Lazio president open to Milinkovic-Savic loan but only on one condition

Only a few days remain until the end of the summer transfer window and AC Milan are making a last attempt for Milinkovic-Savic.

The big summer dream of AC Milan remains always Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, even if the more time passes the more the chances of closing a deal that is still very complicated decrease. Lazio’s economic request is very high (120 million euros) and the club of via Aldo Rossi is blocked by the promises made to UEFA a few weeks ago.

For this reason, Leonardo is working to try to find the right angles and gift the Serbian midfielder to Rino Gattuso but his mission seems almost prohibitive. According to what Tuttosport reveals today in recent days some of Elliott’s managers have traveled to Italy to convince President Claudio Lotito to accept this proposal: the Rossoneri have in fact offered 40 million for the loan including a couple of technical counterparts (Bonaventura, Borini or Montolivo), while within a year the option to buy is set at 80 million euros.

If on one hand the Biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito, seems to have opened up to the formula of loan with the right to buy, on the other Lazio’s number one does not want technical counterparts but only cash. This obstacle will not be easy to overcome for AC Milan who are still trying to close several sales in these days for a last attempt on Milinkovic-Savic. Time, however, is working against the Rossoneri.
