Patrick Cutrone from the start

Last minute news regarding the starting lineup of the Rossoneri for tonight’s Coppa Italia encounter with Lazio. While initially Nikola Kalinic was expected to start coach Gennaro Gattuso has changed his mind. The Croatian has recovered from a slight injury that kept him out for two consecutive games but it’s not yet ready to play from the start.

Once again it will be the tough task of young Patrick Cutrone to provide up front. The Italian striker is enjoying his best form and after scoring against Lazio in their Serie A match and against Roma at Olimpico just two days ago want to repeat himself tonight. A win or a draw with goals will be enough for the Rossoneri to secure the final.

Gattuso chooses starting striker

Not even the time to enjoy the great victory against Roma in the league because the Rossoneri will be busy tomorrow in another delicate match. Again in the Italian capital but this time against Lazio in the second semi-final of Coppa Italia.

Coach Gennaro Gattuso has decided to rest young Patrick Cutrone, keeping him fresh for the upcoming Serie A derby with Inter. Leading the attack tomorrow there should be the Croatian striker Nikola Kalinic recently recovered from pubalgia. Nothing to do for Andre Silva who is headed again on the bench.
