Ancelotti to green light AC Milan striker target departure

AC Milan are considering signing a new striker in January. The Rossoneri are looking at Real Madrid for solutions according to reports form Spain.

AC Milan are considering adding a new striker in their ranks in January. Olivier Giroud, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pietro Pellegri have had significant physical problems so far often forcing coach Pioli to adapt Rafael Leao or Ante Rebic in the centre forward role.

Luka Jovic is a player that has been linked with a move to AC Milan several times. The Serbian centre forward has never managed to shine with Real Madrid who invested a whopping 63 million euros fee to purchase him from Eintracht Frankfurt. Carlo Ancelotti wanted to give him a chance this season but replacing Benzema has been impossible for Luka Jovic.

The 23-year-old wants to leave Real Madrid in January. Mundo Deportivo reports that AC Milan are considering a move for Luka Jovic, just like Eintracht Frankfurt and Fiorentina. Ancelotti does not consider him essential to his project and is ready to green light his departure on loan.

Certainly having a player like Jovic in attack would be an excellent option for coach Stefano Pioli. The Rossoneri have been following him for a long time so a temporary move to San Siro could be acceptable to all parties.

In club hierarchy, Pitro Pellegri is the third choice in attack. The young Italian striker hade made only 3 appearances so far for a total of 60 minutes played. If the situation does not improve it is not excluded that Pellegri’s loan is cut short and a new striker arrives.
