Journalist Fabio Ravezzani criticizes Franck Kessie for his lack of professionalism highlighting the different attitude of Ismael Bennacer.

The contract situation of Franck Kessie is causing a drama at Casa Milan similar to what happened one year ago with Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Ivorian central midfielder is set to follow in the footsteps of the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper leaving AC Milan on a free transfer.

Kessie publicly lied to all Rossoneri fans claiming he would extend his expiring contract with the club during the summer. “I am proud to have chosen AC Milan and it is not my intention to leave. In fact, I want to stay here forever. I will come back and will I fix everything“.

I want only Milan, Maldini and Massara know my thoughts. I love it when the ultras sing ‘one President, there is only one President …’. I want to be here for life. At least the football one“, said Franck during the Olympic games. Things turned out to be much different with Kessie ultimately refusing to renew his contract with AC Milan despite the much-proclaimed love for the club.

Questions have been raised about the player’s professionalism ever since. Fabio Ravezzani, director of TeleLombardia, is the latest to criticize the attitude of Franck Kessie giving a strike comparison to what Ismael Bennacer did after Algeria’s elimination from AFCON.

Algeria gets eliminated and Ismael Bennacer returns to Milan the next day (playing against Juventus). The Ivory Coast is eliminated and Kessie returns 6 days later. Professionalism is measured by these things. And how much professionalism will the player have in the last months of Milan knowing that he will play elsewhere after all?“, said Ravezzani.
