The player is a client of Jorge Mendes and the Rossoneri tried to sign him on loan last year. The 21-year-old Portuguese midfielder has disappointed at Bayern Munich and Swansea City and is looking for a new team to re-launch his career. The German club spent 35-40 million euros plus bonuses to buy Sanches from Benfica after the 2016 European Championship but his price tag has fallen significantly ever since.
According to Tuttosport, the name of Radamel Falcao is still being considered by AC Milan, although Mirabelli has ruled out an exchange with Andre Silva and spoke of the Colombian as a player who is walking towards the end of his career. El Tigre is expected to leave Monaco this summer and would not mind landing at Milanello. The former Porto striker, another client of Jorge Mendes, has experience and quality that can be useful to Gattuso.
