AC Milan continue to search for a new midfielder. In the latest hours Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere has been offered to the rossoneri.

A handy midfielder to make manager Vincenzo Montella happy. After Nikola Kalinic’s now certain arrival from Fiorentina, AC Milan’s management want to complete the squad in this crazy summer transfer window with the engagement of another element in the midfield.

Among the many names that are associated to AC Milan in the last hours, to reinforce the midfield, is also the one of English central midfielder Jack Wilshere. The talented 25 year old footballer of Arsenal is back in London from a season long loan at Bournemouth and is no stranger to AC Milan’s mercato. Last year, Adriano Galliani in August tried to sign him on loan but Wilshere himself refused by preferring to stay in the Premier League, forcing the rossoneri to switch their attention towards Mati Fernandez.

Wilshere’s profile was proposed to sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli in the last few hours by international intermediaries but according to Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan’s management staff seems somewhat doubtful. This time, the English player would be very glad to be in Italy but the club does not seem so sure to welcome him, especially due to the so many physical and muscular problems. In the last year, Wilshere suffered twice a fracture of the fibula, remaining out for several weeks.

The many injuries are the cause of an incomplete technical and structural explosion for this skillful player who, from the point of view of talent, is certainly one of the most appealing elements from the Arsenal school. Massimiliano Mirabelli has now put Wilshere in stand-by, but in the absence of alternatives, he might even consider him. Currently the rossoneri are carefully considering the signing of PSG’s Grzegorz Krychowiak but a surprise name can’t be excluded.
