Injury updates on the conditions of Tonali, Diaz, Calhanoglu Ibrahimovic, Gabbia, Bennacer and Saelemaekers and their chances for the Torino cup match.
The day that AC Milan’s emergency room will be empty looks far. Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz players were forced to leave the match against Torino earlier because of injuries.
The Rossoneri number 8 received a kick in his leg during the controversial penalty awarded to Torino (later canceled by VAR). Instead Brahim Diaz asked to be substituted due to an ankle injury.
According to reports by La Gazzetta dello Sport, for both Milan players it is not anything serious but only two strong bruises. Nevertheless, both risk missing the Coppa Italia match against Torino on Tuesday. Despite the lack of alternatives in midfield coach Stefano Pioli wants to be careful with the two and they will probably be just on the bench.
Fortunately, Hakan Calhanoglu and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have recovered in record time. Ibra hasn’t played since November and lacks the game rhythm but he aspires to start from the first minute against Torino.
Nothing to do instead for Gabbia, Bennacer and Saelemaekers, who will miss the next match. The Algerian midfielder and the Belgian winger will do everything to be available for the Serie A match against Cagliari but their situation is not promising. Meanwhile the club is still waiting for the result of Rade Krunic and Ante Rebic Covid test. The two players have missed the last two games.
