Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ivan Gazidis had a strong debate today at Milanello with the Swedish striker openly criticizing the AC Milan CEO.
According to reports by TuttoMercatoWeb, a verbal clash between Ibrahimovic and Gazidis took place today at Milanello training center in front of the squad.
The Swedish striker openly expressed his doubts about the Rossoneri project and took aim specifically at Gazidis criticizing the CEO about his long absence at Milanello. Gazidis hadn’t been seen since 6 March. The AC Milan CEO responded quietly and civilly at Ibrahimovic. He apologized explaining the reasons of his absence.
The former Arsenal executive reiterated his commitment to the club and the expected growth. Apparently this is the second dispute between the Ibrahimovic and Gazids. The first clash had happened been before Milan-Genoa, when Gazidis explained to the team the reasons for Zvonimir Boban’s sacking.
In today’s meeting the players and the club agreed a 50% of salaries reductions for April. An issue that had been in discussion for quite a while.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, together with captain Alessio Romagnoli, Giacomo Bonaventura and Asmir Begovic, was part of the delegation that discussed these issues with Gazidis today.
