Giampaolo to sign second Milan player after Rodriguez

AC Milan announced today the transfer of Ricardo Rodriguez to Torino but another Rossoneri player may join Marco Giampolo.

With an official statement on its website AC Milan announced today the transfer of Ricardo Rodriguez to Torino. “AC Milan announces that Ricardo Ivan Rodriguez Araya has joined Torino FC on a permanent deal. The Rossoneri Club wishes him all the best in his future endeavours“.

As initially reported by acmilaninfo.com, Rodriguez became Marco Giampaolo’s first signing as coach of Torino. The Swish left back joined for a low fee of 3 million euros plus add-ons. The player has signed a four-year contract of 1.5 million per season.

In 2017, AC Milan spent 15 million to buy the Swiss international from Wolfsburg but during his time at Milan he was often subject to criticism. Rodriguez lost his starting spot after the arrival of Theo Hernandez and spent the second half of the season on loan at PSV.

Nevertheless, another AC Milan player may join Rodriguez at Milan soon. Torino are in talks with Lucas Bilia and have offered him a contract. The Argentine is reflecting and will give his answer soon reports MilanNews.it.

Lucas Biglia too was one of AC Milan’s important signing in 2017. The Rossoneri spent nearly 20 million to buy him from Lazio but he proved to be just a shadow of his former self. The Argentine is now a free agent after AC Milan decided not to offer him a new contract.
