RedBird plan to invest €100 million this summer to improve the AC Milan squad with thee targets in mind reports Gazzetta.
Now that the change of ownership has been completed it’s time for AC Milan to concentrate on the upcoming summer transfer window. The Rossoneri don’t aim to overhaul the squad that just won the Scudetto for the first time in eleven years. Redbird’s plan is to make the squad even more competitive with three new singings.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that RedBird will invest 100 million euros to summer for new signings. Renato Sanches will very likely be the first purchase of the new American owners while Club Brugge duo, Charles De Ketelaere and Noa Lang, are high on Polo Maldini’s list of transfer targets.
After more than six months of negotiations Renato Sanches has accepted AC Milan’s offer of 3 million per season plus bonuses. The Portuguese midfielder will replace Franck Kessie who is set to join Barcelona as a free agent. Sanches will cost the Rossoneri around 18 million euros.
Lang and De Ketelaere have been on AC Milan’s radar for a long time as well. The Netherlands international is primarily a left winger but can cover any role up front. While his character has been put into question, the Rossoneri are convinced of his talent. Brugge are reportedly open to let him go for around 25-30 million.
Charles De Ketelaere is the crown jewel of the Belgian champions. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is often compared to Kevin De Bruyne is his homeland. De Ketelaere had a fantastic season scoring 18 goals and assisting 10 across all competitions. Brugge are asking at least 40 million for their star while Milan are ready to test the ground with a 30 million offer.
