Gds: Three AC Milan players to leave and make room for two new signings
Three AC Milan players are set to leave the club in January while the Rossoneri plan moves for Hakim Ziyech or Houssem Aouar.
The Rossoneri are preparing their moves for the upcoming winter transfer window. Players like Hakim Ziyech or Houssem Aouar have been constantly linked to AC Milan in recent period to strengthen the midfield and the attack. However, three names are expected to depart Pioli’s squad in January in order to make space for Ziyech and Aouar reports Gazzetta dello Sport.
GOODBYE ADLI – For Yacine Adli it will likely be a goodbye and not a farewell. The French midfielder arrived after a very positive spell at Bordeaux. Surprisingly he found very little space in the first half of the season. Stefano Pioli considers him slow for the Italian game and Adli is fifth in the attacking midfielder hierarchy.
The Rossoneri don’t plan to sell Adli in January but they are open to listen to loan offers for the 22-year-old midfielders. A couple of French clubs are willing to welcome him back to Ligue 1 but AC Milan favor a temporary transfer to Serie A. A six-month loan in Italy could be quite beneficial for Adli according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
DOUBLE EXIT – On the other hand, the situation regarding Timoue Bakayoko and Fode Ballo-Toure is differen with both destined to leave the club permanently. As for the Frenchman, he has long been out of Stefano Pioli’s plans and has never played this season. Milan are in advanced talks with Chelsea to end Bakayoko’s loan and move the player elsewhere.
Fode Ballo-Toure will probably be the first January sale. The Senegal international could end up in Turkey with galatasaray very interested in his services. AC Milan want at least 5 million euros to let the left-back leave in January. That’s practically the same fee they spent to acuire the 25-year-old from Monaco one year ago.
