AC Milan are moving to purchase Lorenzo Lucca in January and avoid the competition of other interested clubs.
Lorenzo Lucca is having a truly magical. The 21-year-old Italian striker is the surprise top scorer of Serie B with 6 goals in 7 appearances (and one assists) with Pisa so far. In addition, Lucca scored a great goal in the last match of Italy U-21 against Sweden while partnering with Lorenzo Colombo in attack.
Despite his young age, Lucca is attracting the attention of many clubs with his stunning performances. AC Milan are great admirers of the Pisa starlet and are reportedly leading the race for his services according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
In fact the Rossoneri are trying to purchase Lorenzo Lucca in advance and avoid the competition of other clubs. The plan of AC Milan is to sign Lucca immediately and let him finish the season at Pisa. Similar to what happened with Yacine Aldi.
A very favorable condition for the Serie B club that is fighting for promotion to the top tier this year. Lucca is currently rated at around 10 million euros but his price tag is destined to increase if the Italian keeps this form throughout the season. He is already considered a rising star of Italian football.
The Rossoneri have opened talks with Pisa to understand the feasibility of the operation. Juventus and Inter are also keeping tabs on the 21-year-old while Red Bull Leipzig are the most interested foreign club.
